Start at UCLA CAPS

You are encouraged to contact the UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS) if you need mental health/behavioral health care.  CAPS is an on-campus multidisciplinary center where you can receive mental health services, consultation, and referral.

·         CAPS offers brief, intermittent treatment for UCLA students including screening, individual and group therapy, psychiatry, consultation, and crisis intervention.

·         CAPS assists with referrals and linkage to higher levels of care and additional campus and community resources as appropriate.

 *Behavioral health services for SHIP students must begin at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services.

CAPS does not schedule appointments online.  All first time appointments are on a walk in basis Monday through Thursday 9AM-4PM and Friday 9AM- 3PM.
