Influenza

It’s never too early or too late to plan and think about important steps you can take to increase awareness and prevention. We always work closely with campus and community partners to monitor flu conditions and make decisions about the best steps to take concerning our institution. We will keep you updated with new information as it becomes available to us.

Flu vaccines are designed to protect against the influenza viruses that experts predict will be the most common during the upcoming season. Three kinds of influenza viruses commonly circulate among people today: Influenza A (H1N1) viruses, influenza A (H3N2) viruses, and influenza B viruses.

You can get vaccinated at The Ashe Center by scheduling an appointment by phone at (310) 825-4073, or by logging onto your Ashe Patient Portal at www.studenthealth.ucla.edu.  You can also drop-by one of our campus flu fairs, no appointment necessary. Your BruinCard is required for flu fair vaccinations.
