What is Telehealth?

The use of live, two-way audiovisual interactions between you and your provider through video visits.

What Are The Ashe Center’s Video Visits?

Instead of coming in to The Ashe Center for an exam, consultation or follow-up appointment, you can connect with an Ashe Center provider using Zoom on your computer or smartphone. You can discuss symptoms, as well as diagnosis and treatment plans, without having to leave your home or workplace. In other words, it’s just like a regular appointment with your Ashe Center provider, only more convenient. You also can consult with our specialists, including Physical Therapy, Dietician, Sports Medicine, Dermatology, Allergy, and Neurology.

Are Video Visits Covered by UCSHIP?

Yes, both UCSHIP and BruinCare cover video visits with a $0 copay. For patients who are not enrolled in UCSHIP or Bruin Care, the fee is $25 billed directly to the BruinBill account.

Are Video Visits Secure?
